What is Zebra Mussel Media  ?


Zebra Mussel Media developed from the ashes of several other ventures of the proprietor, Edward "Eddie" Meade. Through trial and error, the true aspects of Eddie's talents and skills in management of professional talent shined through, with a strong desire to become involved in the music industry.

With an true love for rock and roll, as well as an admiration for most genre's of music, Eddie dabbled with management of a few local bands from his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. But there was something missing from each relationship with the previous bands. Whatever the reason, the future of Eddie working in management was dimming, as he explored the scene...

...Until, one day, when he responded to an email from a band who had contacted him several weeks earlier. The band was a hip quartet from Rockford, Illinois, who's sound was so original, so fresh, Eddie made a website for the band that same day of hearing their demo songs ! He saw so such promise with the sound of this band, and such musical potentential, his passion and desire was rejuvenated. Eddie and the band worked dilegently for several months, working on a demo CD, press kit, contacting venues, and such. The progress of the band lunged forward, and broke through the reigns of the local music scene. Their advancement into indie music presses on today.

Zebra Mussel Media dedicates itself to the promotion of the local music. The best rock-n-roll shows are seen in your local music hall, be that a coffee house or tavern. Wherever hard-working, passionate musicians play their heart out to the few fans that still appreciate the best music has to offer...not pre-packaged bubble gum pop.
