Salva Me To Play Orpheum Theater May 23rd
Madison’s own The Dorothy Heralds and Lovers in Arms will also appear

Bringing an eclectic mix of modern, contemporary beats and enlightened, progressive music, Salva Me returns to the Madison music scene this Friday night for a $10 show at the Orpheum Theater on State Street. The show will feature special guests The Dorothy Heralds and Lovers in Arms.

Salva Me is returning to the scene after a break and is looking to reconnect with their fans. Bringing a show they think will have something for everyone, Salva Me will appeal to you whether you’re looking to relax and enjoy a drink and original music or you want to dance the night away.

“There's nothing better than going to a show and feeling like your magnetically being drawn to the front, dance floor, or feeling like you have to nod your head, “ said band founder Jesse Korleski. “At the same time the music will have a haunting deepness to it - orgainically made - and of course in minor keys."

February 10, 2006 – (Milwaukee, WI)
- 'Salva Me', one of the Midwest’s hottest ‘Up & Coming’ bands, has scheduled a performance at Milwaukee’s “Velvet Room”, located at 730 N. Old World Third St. Milwaukee, WI 53203 Phone: 414-319-1190, for Friday, March 10th, at 10 PM.

This show marks the band’s debut performance in Milwaukee for 2006. The band is started their 2006 tour schedule on February 10th at the Caboose, in Minneapolis.

With all original music on their 2005 album, “The Flavorlessness of Water”, which ranges from traditional jazz influences, to acid jazz, to trip hop, this year's live set provides a move toward dance & techno-pop and give fans a performance which will prove to be a music experience, truly clarifying what "Indie" is.

'Salva Me’ (pronounced, ‘Salva-May’) is a 4-piece group, with the 2 founding members, Jesse Korleski (songwriter/bass) from Beloit, WI. & Stephanie Castillo (lyricist/vocals), hailing from South Beloit, IL. The third member, Mike Christensen (drums) is a Beloit native. Scott McCormick is playing keys.  The members, along with the management of Sirius Productions, have brought 'Salva Me’ from an idea and a test project, to a fully operational band which has received critical acclaim throughout the region in the past several months.

Rockfords newest band: Salva Me

The salvation of the Rockford music scene is here in the form of an un-peggable quartet known as Salva Me. With fascinating stage presence, hypnotic music and a gorgeous vocalist, this group is going to show locals what freshness is.
Bass, keys, drums and vocals make up Salva Me. In a sort of minimalistic acid jazz style, the group forces the audience to listen with a lot of hooks. The first hook is their singer and lyricist Stephanie Castillo, a gorgeous young woman whose voice takes the listener by surprise. Shes a little girl with a huge voice that overwhelms the room with richness...but the sound is reminiscent of a siren, wailing and crooning perilously. If her voice doesnt nab you, her appearance will.

The second hook is the great musicianship of Jesse Korleski writes most of the music and songs, and its quite obvious when listening that these tasks are taken care of by a bass player. The bass is emphasized more than any other instrument, and creates the mood for each song by driving deeply, and whipping around the audial region savagely demanding attention. A whisper of dancehall style comes through in his sound, but since hes not pressing any buttons on a box but rather merely playing an instrument, that whisper is more textured and interesting than prepackaged.

There really is no other band quite like em in town...I see a lot of good things to come for this group in the near future; theyre currently my favorite local band. To find out more about Salva Me, visit www.salvame.net.

Although hailing from the same town as Cheap Trick, there is nothing musically cheap about Salva Me. The Rockford, Ill., group has created a buzz in a relatively short span with its experimental mix of electronic, pop and jazz styles. Fronted by comely siren Stephanie Castillo, the ensemble has both the ambient quality of a hip indie soundtrack and undeniable onstage charisma that makes for an engaging live show. "I was on my way out to meet some friends, and right as I was walking out the door, the band started playing and Stephanie started singing. I stopped dead on my track, turned and my jaw dropped. It was the most incredible show I have seen in months. Comparable to Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance, and definetly one of fer bands worth keeping up with. I can't wait to see what they come up with next!"
